Ololade Johnson-Agiri has 13 years of experience, in both corporate and international development organizations, initiating and executing integrated communications strategies and campaigns to advance the goals of the organization’s she’s worked with. 

She earned a Masters with Distinction in Marketing and Management from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom – winning the Elmwood award for Best graduating Student in Marketing – and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Language arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. 

While working with the United Nations in Nigeria, she led the communication efforts to enhance programmes for inclusive growth, health rights and shared prosperity for all. Lolade co-chairs the United Nations Private Sector Advisory Group, where she co-ordinates private sector participation and synergy for development in the agriculture sector. Through her involvement in different development and commercial activities, she has developed her expertise in strategic communications for corporate visibility; sustainability with a focus on Environmental management, Social impact and Governance (ESG). 

Lolade enjoys storytelling and uses this skill to project the interests of her audience, whether it is to control a company’s reputational narrative or to secure funding for development initiatives she tells empathic stories that get the desired results. 

Lolade has received 14 awards of excellence for high performance and innovation. She is a 5-time winner of the BAT West and Central Africa War Lord award for sustainability. When she’s not working, Lolade loves to read, learn and SHOP!
